According to my teacher, Leslie Temple-Thurston of Corelight,
A Spiritual Warrior:
- bears witness to life in a non-reactive way, cultivating balance and forsaking the dramas that attend most people’s lives.
- applies the principles of impeccability to life—being fully responsible, accountable and in integrity at all times, in all spheres of worldly involvement.
- learns how to develop courage, a heart state, to be strong, to trust in spirit and to overcome behaviors exclusively motivated by survival.
- learns to have a wider vision and to experience the subtle physical aspects of nature—developing respect for the plant and animal kingdom, as well as cultivating a complete reverence for every facet of life.
I received my Spiritual Warrior training from Leslie in person, in a series of meditative and instructional weekend retreats in Sausalito, CA, in 1996 and 1997. This was the last in-person series before she announced she was called to do less traveling and would in future be teaching in a distance format. I feel very blessed to have been able to sit with Leslie for several years, accelerating my clearing and healing considerably in the process and benefitting beyond measure from her sharing of wisdom, knowledge and Light.
Leslie conducted guided meditations that took us through the integration of Christ Consciousness, the merging of the Merkhaba which is the merging of Humanity with the Divine, Impeccability meditations - exploring the difference between opportunism, which is based on a fear of lack, and personal impeccability which does not seek to gain anything at the expense of others. We were instructed in the Dualistic Nature of Reality and how to determine and clear our limited life states, Energy Management and Neutrality, balancing your life.
